According to CliftonStrengths, my top strength is Maximizer — and that truly resonates with how I lead and collaborate. I thrive on elevating good ideas into exceptional creative solutions, leveraging every team member’s strengths to craft visual work that’s bold, purposeful, and elegantly simple.
Graduating magna cum laude with a BFA in Communication Arts from the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design laid the foundation for my creative career. I launched into the advertising world at mcgarrybowen when the agency was still in its early days, just 60 people strong. Growing with the company, I evolved from a designer into a strategic and creative leader, sharpening a broad skill set that spans concept development, animation and motion design, brand identity, broadcast and digital production, image retouching, client engagement, and team mentorship.
My journey took a meaningful turn when I joined Teach For America — a nonprofit committed to educational equity. Over the past five years, I’ve helped evolve the organization’s visual identity, challenged conventional creative approaches, and championed cross-functional collaboration. Working within a mission-driven organization deepened my commitment to DEI and reinforced the value of inclusive, interdepartmental team-building in creating truly resonant work.
When I’m not working, I’m probably hanging with my wife & two sons, with the fellow “Hot Dads” at trivia night, or conquering the latest video game.
Thanks for stopping by.
Let’s make something awesome.
